I enjoyed this film very much. I was put off by the story of the agent who wonders what happened to the film maker, his cast and crew, but once I saw the actual core sci-fi story, it was like a whole new world opened up. I enjoyed this film very much. I was put off by the story of the agent who wonders what happened to the film maker, his cast and crew, but once I saw the actual core sci-fi story, it was like a whole new world opened up. I thought the screenplay (Brian Delizareaux), mystery, direction (R. Christian Anderson), and premise were fascinating. I enjoyed gathering the clues along the way and putting them together to figure out what the plot line was saying. I agree that this film is not for everyone and it was requires that the viewer pay unusually close attention to details and visual cues, but when I did, I got into the film and even found myself pulling out paper and pencil to jot down what I found along the way. The special effects of the space vehicles was quite good (especially considering the small budget), the alien cyborg was particularly well done, and I think it the direction and acting was commendable. I didn't care for the detached and deconstructed music and didn't care for the secret agent in the opening scene, but the main part of the film made up for this weakness and was fun and enjoyable. Be warned, it's very experimental and moves a bit slowly, but if you stick with it, you may find it to be as fascinating as I did. I have watched it twice now and still got something out of it in the second viewing. I hope this becomes a video game! Lots to work with here. Peace out!
