The longest book of the series. ALMOST the best.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, after four previous entries, is still great and spellbinding. This one, even at 870 pages (in the American edition, at least), does not even seem overly long, though it does take a good amount of sitting-time to read it. And once again,...

And once again, the movie is terrible compared to this. Ehh, it's not all that great, anyhow. Four and a half stars.

Rowling Does It Again

Once again, Rowling writes a phenomenal book for all to enjoy. I have read all of the Harry Potter novels dozens of times, and yet, this is still my favorite novel. Many of my friends dislike this novel or believed it to be too slow. However, that is what I love about this book. The reader discovers so many new things with Harry, including the long-awaited prophecy. This book is so intricate that even upon reading it for the tenth time, I am still discovering new nuances within it. As a harry Potter fan, I love all of the novels (except maybe the 6th, but that one does not count), especially this one and the 7th and 3rd. So, I guess if you did not like either of those you probably won't love this one. However, this bookwill live in my heart as not only my favorite Harry Potter novel, but as one of my favorite books ever.
